First Learning Center Class Scheduled We will have a class at our Learning Center on Saturday morning, Aug. 6th at 10:00 AM. Topics to be covered are (1) a tour of our web site, (2) a tour of BridgeScore.com, (3) an introduction to the Bridge Software on the Learning Center Computer and (4) a Question and Answer session for any computer related questions or problems. If you would like to attend the class at another time, please sign up at the Learning Center (there is a sign up sheet on the desk) and indicate a preferred date and time. (Posted July 30, 2005)

Getting Started at the Learning Center
The
Learning Center is another avenue to learning about Bridge and our
Bridge Club via computers and the Internet. On the computer, there
are a variety of software packages for learning Bidding, Defense,
Play of the Hand and many conventions. In addition, there are a
number of programs such as Bridge Baron that play Bridge. Over
time, we hope to have a large number of Bridge related software
installed on the Learning Center Computer for our members to use, to
test drive or just to satisfy their curiosity. As needed, we will
offer mini-training sessions (even one-on-one training) to enable
our member to use this software. To fully utilize the computer and the Internet, we realize the need for basic computing skills and will offer, on request, short courses in Windows, E-mail, and other topics as the needs arise. * To start using the Learning Center, please take one or more of the following steps:
