What is Zero Tolerance?
Simple. Never, ever make anyone feel uncomfortable!  Neither word, nor gesture, nor facial expression, nor sound, should ever express anything but respect and friendliness.  Zero Tolerance means ... always be nice! If you have an issue, please call the director.  Game Directors are responsible for enforcing the Zero Tolerance Policy!  Thank You.

Basic Bridge Classes 2008

Wednesday Morning Game
Joe Reeves hand drawn Christmas card for 2006 is shown below -- click the picture to enlarge it.  The caption is:
"How did aircraft maintain their course while flying across the ocean in bad weather in the 1940's and 50's? They calculated their drift angle by measuring the true height of the airplane while flying a constant pressure altitude. The change in height, at timed intervals, relates directly to the wind direction and velocity. The invention of the radar altimeter during WWII permitted this technique which was used by skilled navigators. This method was especially valuable in the North Atlantic where other methods of navigation often were not available."

Thanks Joe!

This picture of Joe Reeves was taken by his wife Esther at their home in Ohio this month.

My question: Joe, is that really more fun than playing bridge with us in the summer?
