Bulletin Board Guide - PDF

Register : We recommend that you register which is very easy.  Enter a user name (this is the name you'll be known by on the Bulletin Board), your e-Mail address and a password you'll use to log in. That's all you need to do.  Don't forget to press "Submit" at the bottom of the registration page.  If you want to be a Forum Moderator, you must be registered.

FAQ:  On the Bulletin Board, click FAQ for Frequently Asked Questions about the Bulletin Board.  This is a useful help file but if you can't find the answer, just post a question on the "Web Site" Forum under the General category. 

New Topic:  On the Bulletin Board, you click the "New Topic" button to start a new topic.  The new topic window will appear and you write your message and click "Submit" to post it.

Post Reply: On the Bulletin Board, you click the "Post Reply" button to reply to a message.  The "Post the Reply" window will appear and you then enter a message and click "Submit" to post it.

Log In:  When you enter the Bulletin Board click "Log In", and a screen will appear where you enter your user name and password.  If you have not registered, log in process in not needed.

Avatar: Once registered, you can attach an Avatar to your Profile so when you post a message, your user name and Avatar will appear automatically.  You may also add a special signature (message) to your profile.

Profile: On the Bulletin Board, you click "Profile" to change your password, e-Mail address, Avatar, signature and other settings on your profile.

The structure for messages on the bulletin board is:

Category (Bridge)
   Forum  (Bridge conventions)
   Forum  (Hands)
   Forum  (Bidding)
       Topic 1 (Weak 2 bids)
       Topic 2 (Leads in suit contracts)

Click on the Category to show the forums and click on the Forums to show the Topics (messages) posted.  You may post a new message, reply to a message posted or just read the posted messages . 

New Forums will be added as needed; hopefully we'll have volunteers to act as moderators in each Forum (Please volunteer here)
